Who are we? Central Connecticut Coin Club
What are we about? Since 1960 our club has been dedicated to the hobby of collecting coins, notes, medals and tokens along with sharing numismatic knowledge. We are an ANA (American Numismatic Association) and NENA (New England Numismatic Association) club in good standing.

When do we meet? Meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of every month, year round, from 6:30 pm to 9 pm (doors open at 6:00 pm)
Why do we meet? The Numismatic hobby is rich in:
- History that includes the age and story behind an item
- Artistry and design of an item (e.g.: state quarters)
- Geographical facts — Location (e.g.: Foreign Countries) and design
- Specialized collections – currency notes, tokens, commemoratives & medals
What happens at a typical meeting?
- Discussions on current numismatic news
- Numismatic programs, presentations or displays
- Raffle for numismatic prizes
- Auction of coins being sold by other members
- There is at least one vendor in attendance selling coins, paper money and supplies
How much is it to join? Membership fees are: Family $20/yr. Adult $10/yr. Child $5/yr. to cover club expenses. This also entitles you to monthly mailings of auction items to bid on and participation in a monthly giveaway.
Stop in to experience a meeting as a non-member at no charge. You can bring up to 5 items for free identification and appraisal by our members.
